Description

You will learn how to discharge using various methods. Spend three days learning how to safely use the chemicals bleach, thiox and formosol. We will cover the proper way to stop the destructive action. After day three we will clear away the chemicals and bring out the sewing machines, take the newly formed discharged pieces and create a masterpiece. You will manipulate the pieces, develop them into a composition that you will then sew.

Air purifying respiratory – Organic Vapors/Acid Gases
Sewing Machine and bobbins, needles, thread
Old clothes
Apron
Rubber Gloves
Cutting mat and rotary cutter
Scissors
Wonder Under or Adhesive spray
Material to discharge: Cotton. black or any color that discharges. Silk, black
Thermofax screens
Resist and stamping tools

Instructor will have available for your use during class stamping tools and items to use for resist.  

$25.00 Class Fee  includes all handouts and recipes and the following chemicals:  Formosol, Thiox, Anti-Chlor, Bleach, Monogum, and Soda Ash
