Biographical Information

Bob Adams is a retired art teacher in the public school system in Indiana. He is the recipient of the Golden Apple award for outstanding teaching. He received his BA from John Herron Art Institute and Butler University and his MA in art from Ball State University. He has taught quilting related workshops across the United States and in Canada, Great Britain, and Australia. Bob is featured in the June 2011 issue of Art Quilting Studio pages 48 through 57.

Bob likes to teach in a way that brings out the individual in each student. He doesn’t want to end up with a class of clones, believing instead that every student has their own unique way of working and a very personal feeling for what they are seeking to achieve. He is able to draw students out of their comfort zone and inspire them to take what they have to offer in their own direction. Bob fosters problem solving.
