Description

Maximize the visual impact of your surface designs by learning more about color
and composition. Using paper, watercolors and fabric, you will explore various color
schemes, color harmony and methods of placement. Discover how critical thinking supports your intuitive creativity in making elegant, exciting design choices. Learn basic methods of placement, color relationships and new ways of seeing and discussing your own unique designs. In this two-day course, we will use paper, fabric and watercolor to help you understand, discuss and experiment with basic design concepts. The ultimate goal of this course is for you to experience, discuss and be inspired by new possibilities for your surfaces designs. Bring your work completed or in progress for friendly class conversation.
