Biographical Information Julie Abijanac was born in Landstuhl, Germany. Her family moved to the Mid-West when she was an infant where she grew up in Clintonville, Ohio. After graduating from CHAS and Fort Hayes Career Center she studied fine arts at Columbus College of Art & Design. Shortly after she attended Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI. There she studied painting under Beverly Fishman. In her second year at Cranbrook she was asked be a TA for the department. Julie has exhibited her work in New York City as well as various cities in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, including venues such as Cranbrook Art Museum and Zanesville Museum of Art. Her work has been reviewed in periodicals such as Image Magazine, Columbus Alive, The New Art Examiner, The Ann Arbor News, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Columbus Dispatch, and various exhibition catalogs. Art Access in Bexley, Ohio currently represents her. My Classes I will be teaching the following classes at the symposium this year:
